Call for proposals for residencies at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts Ghent (Belgium)
 
Sala d'Art Jove in conjunction with Hangar
 
HISK, Sala d'Art Jove and Hangar invite 2 artists from the current and latest Art Jove class (Art Jove 2015 and 2016) to participate in a residency in Ghent (Belgium) for 1 month each in May and September 2016 . During this time, the 2 artists chosen will participate in the HISK training programme and will be given a workspace in this centre. The fellowship also covers travel expenses and has a gross travel budget of €1,000.
 
HISK is a centre located in Ghent which since 1997 has offered a post-academic programme in the visual arts, welcoming 24 young artists from different countries in two-year stays. Its activity is based on a training and production programme, including studio visits, workshops and public presentations. With this residency, the centre also gets artists in touch with other production and training centres around Europe, including Sala d'Art Jove.
