The Sala d'Art Jove is welcoming the artists Egon Van Herreweghe and Pedro Moraes from late July throughout all of August as part of the exchange programme it has launched with HISK, Higher Institute for Fine Arts Advanced Studies in Ghent (Belgium), in conjunction with Homesession in Barcelona.

Along with the call for proposals publicised  April 2015  in conjunction with art3 from Valance (France) and Homesession, the winner of which was the artist Laura Llaneli, this initiative is joined by the implementation of the Sala d'Art Jove’s international action programme.

HISK is a centre located in Ghent which since 1997 has offered a post-academic programme in the visual arts, welcoming 24 young artists from different countries in two-year stays. Its activity is based on a training and production programme, including studio visits, workshops and public presentations. With this residency, the centre also gets artists in touch with other production and training centres around Europe, including Sala d'Art Jove.
