Lluites urbanes a través de la fotografia i la ruta guiada
(Journey into the Past of the Sants Neighbourhood: Urban Struggles via Photography and the Guided Tour)

This project consists in an educational device which depicts the milestones achieved by the residents’ struggles in the Sants-Montjuïc district (Barcelona) in the 1960s. Based on the discovery of an extensive collection of unexplored photographs and documents on the struggles for rights found in the District Archive, a workshop and guided tour will be designed where participants can reflect on the local historical memory and the residents and activists that took part in it.

Viatge al passat del barri de Sants is part of a collaboration between ACVic Centre d'Arts Contemporànies and Sala d'Art Jove in 2017.

Project chosen in Education category within the 2017 Art Jove Call for Proposals, with mentoring by Montse Romaní.
