Animality has been devoured by man, and man has been hunted by technology. The performer plays the invisible man, the artist demands his own success and institutionalises his demand. The virtual image has become tangible.

We thought data had nothing to do with bodies, concepts, the reality of the physical. When the web has become the fabric of our lives, there is no longer an inside and an outside; neither is more real than the other. Capital, production, individual construction and the circulation of information are all part of a single intangible system that leads us to a state that used to seem solid, but now seems nebulous, and instead of being static is constantly being updated.

Joining nodes that are seemingly unconnected may not make sense. This is true when an exhibition is expected to be articulated via familiar strategies. FUNKY Cloud, Hunt, Village seeks to anticipate the mechanics of a world that has not yet been tested.
